IMO avholder sitt KV 19 utsatte Maritime Safety Committee nr. 102 fra 4 til 12. november. Møtet foregår på nettet.

Det er denne hovedkomiteen som offisielt godkjenner all tekst fra underkomiteene og under første dag var HUMAN ELEMENT, TRAINING AND WATCHKEEPING (STCW) sitt arbeid på agendaen for godkjenning.

.7 approve that the draft definition of "high-voltage" be included in STCW regulation I/1, with a view to adoption (paragraph 12.21 and annex 7);

.8 approve the draft amendment to section A-I/1 of the STCW Code on the inclusion of the capacity "electro-technical officer" in the definition of "operational level", as a consequential amendment to the introduction of this capacity as part of the 2010 Manila Amendments, with a view to adoption (paragraph 12.23 and annex 8);
